Tutor Accreditation Terms & Conditions
Last updated · 2026-05-30
These terms govern MTA Tutor Accreditation: a professional credential that Manchester Training Academy grants to individual tutors, and the related accreditation of courses you deliver yourself. By applying you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. They apply in addition to our general Terms & Conditions.
1. What accreditation is
Tutor Accreditation recognises you, as an individual trainer, against our review of your qualifications and experience. When granted, you receive a Certificate of Accreditation with a unique accreditation number and a validity period, and you are listed in our public register of accredited tutors.
Courses you deliver on the MTA platform are handled under our standard course process and are not covered by these terms. These terms cover programmes you deliver yourself, off the platform, that you ask us to accredit.
2. Eligibility
To be considered for accreditation you should be a practising trainer with relevant qualifications and demonstrable experience in the field you intend to deliver. We assess each application on its merits and may request further information before deciding.
3. Application and required documents
You apply through your account. We ask you to provide the following, and to keep the information accurate and up to date:
- Your full official name in Arabic, exactly as it appears on your identity document or passport.
- A recent, formal personal photograph, supplied as a separate image file (JPG or PNG), not embedded in your CV.
- An up-to-date CV in English.
- Copies of your academic, professional or experience certificates relevant to the field you will deliver.
- A Train-the-Trainer (TOT) certificate in English. Certificates from recognised free Arabic platforms are accepted; if yours is only available in Arabic, contact us so we can arrange a way forward.
- Your country and a contact telephone number.
- Links to your professional profiles or work pages, where you have them.
- Any outstanding achievements or awards in your field, if applicable.
You confirm that the documents you submit are genuine, are yours to share, and do not infringe anyone else's rights. Submitting false or misleading information may lead to refusal or to withdrawal of accreditation.
4. Review, decision and validity
We review each application and may approve it, decline it, or ask for more information. Approval is at our discretion. We are not obliged to give detailed reasons for a decision, although we will usually tell you what is missing where we ask for more information.
When accreditation is granted it is valid from the start date to the end date shown on your Certificate of Accreditation. You may apply to renew before it expires. Accreditation is personal to you and may not be transferred or shared.
5. Fees and payment
Fees are set for each case and confirmed to you after your application or course is approved. Fees differ depending on what is being accredited and may change over time. We will send you the amount and how to pay.
You may pay by card through our online checkout, or arrange payment with us directly by email or messaging if that is easier for you. Where you arrange payment directly, your accreditation, course or certificates are released once we have confirmed receipt. Fees are non-refundable once the related accreditation, course approval or certificates have been issued, except where the law requires otherwise.
6. Accrediting your own courses
Once accredited, you may submit a course you deliver yourself for accreditation. We ask only for what we need to assess it: clear course information and the presentations, documents or files you will use in delivery. You do not upload full teaching materials.
We review each course and may approve it, decline it, or ask for more information. When a course is approved it is approved for a set number of students. You may apply to increase that number, or to add more students, and we will review the request.
You remain responsible for the delivery of your own courses, including the venue, scheduling, health and safety, and your conduct towards learners. We accredit the content we review; we do not deliver the course or supervise your sessions.
7. Student records and certificates
For an approved course, you provide the names of the students who completed it, in English, so that we can issue MTA certificates. You confirm that each named student genuinely attended and completed the course, and that you have a lawful basis to share their details with us for this purpose.
Once we approve issuing, the certificates are generated and made available to you to download, and, where a student email is provided, may be sent to that student. Each certificate is verifiable through our certificate verification service. We may decline to issue, or may withdraw, certificates where we have reason to believe the records are inaccurate.
8. Your obligations
- Represent your accreditation honestly, and only for its valid period and scope.
- Do not state or imply that a course is MTA-accredited unless we have accredited that course.
- Treat learners fairly and professionally, and respect their data and their rights.
- Keep your profile and documents accurate, and tell us promptly if anything material changes.
- Comply with the law that applies to your training and to your handling of learners' information.
9. Suspension, revocation and expiry
We may suspend or revoke your accreditation, or that of a specific course, if these terms are broken, if information proves to be false, if there is a risk to learners, or where we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
If your accreditation expires or is revoked, you must stop describing yourself as MTA-accredited and stop using the accreditation number. Certificates already issued to students for genuinely completed courses remain valid.
10. Data protection
We process the information in your application, and the student details you provide, to operate accreditation and to issue certificates. Your photograph, name, headline and accredited courses are shown publicly in the register while your accreditation is valid. For how we handle personal data, including your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to a decision is the one in force when you submit the related application. Significant changes will be reflected on this page with a new date above.
12. How to contact us
