Create your free student account
A quick walkthrough of signing up as an MTA student — from registering and verifying your email to adding your phone number and finding your way around your new dashboard.
Go to the MTA website and select "Become a Tutor" (or visit /become-a-tutor directly).
Before you start, review the "What you'll need" checklist on the page: a recent headshot photo, your CV in English, your Train-the-Trainer (TOT) certificate in English, and an identity document — a passport is preferred. Having these ready makes the rest of the application quick.
When you're ready, click the apply button to open the application form.
Enter your first name and last name in English — these are required.
You can also add your official full name in Arabic, exactly as it appears on your ID or passport. This is optional, but useful if you'd like your Arabic name on record.
Finally, enter your date of birth, which is required.
Upload a clear, recent headshot photo of yourself. This is the photo that will appear on your public Certified Tutor profile once you're approved, so choose one where you're clearly visible and professionally presented.
JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC files are all accepted, up to 10 MB in size.
Choose your country, then enter your phone number.
If your WhatsApp number is different from your phone number, untick "My WhatsApp number is the same as my phone number" and enter your WhatsApp number separately.
Enter your email address and click "Send verification code." A 6-digit code arrives in your inbox within moments (check your spam folder if you don't see it). Enter the code and click "Verify" to confirm your email.
Upload your required documents: an identity document (the photo page of your passport is preferred, though a national ID is also accepted), your CV in English, and your Train-the-Trainer (TOT) certificate in English. If you only have your TOT certificate in Arabic, submit your application anyway and contact us — we'll help.
You can also attach up to 5 optional supporting documents, each up to 10 MB.
Add at least one specialisation — the field or fields you train in — adding them one at a time.
A headline, short bio, notable achievements, and links to your professional profiles are all optional, but they help strengthen your public tutor profile.
Review the preview of your public tutor card, along with the table summarising everything you've entered. Take a moment to make sure your details are accurate.
Submitting your application confirms that you accept the Tutor Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
When you're ready, click "Submit application" and keep the page open while your documents upload — a progress percentage shows while this happens. Once it's done, you land on the "Application received" page, with your status shown as Under review.
Our team reviews your application and will contact you about next steps, including any applicable fee.
Once you're approved, you'll receive an email confirming it, showing your accreditation number, with a "Set Your Password" button. Click it to open the password page with your email already filled in.
Click "Send code," then enter the 6-digit code from your email along with your new password. You'll be signed in automatically and taken straight to your Tutor Dashboard.
Our team answers quickly — send us a message and we'll walk you through it.
